Flambe Bananas

FROM THE FOOD NETWORK (foodtv.ca)
(serves 4)
BANANAS:
2tbsp butter
3 large bananas
2tbsp brown sugar
juice of ½ lime
3-4 tbsp rum
Whipped cream, for garnish (optional)
CHOCOLATE SAUCE
1.5 part cream
1 part dark chocolate, chopped in small pieces
Directions:
FOR THE BANANAS:
1. Over medium high heat, melt butter.
2. Add brown sugar & bananas. Sauté for 1 to 2 min.
3. Remove pan from heat & add rum.
4. Add pan back to heat. Ignite w/long match. (The alcohol should burn off in a few seconds and flame will extinguish.)
5. Add the lime juice. (If flame does extinguish, cover pan with lid.)
FOR THE CHOCOLATE SAUCE:
6. Heat cream over medium high heat until comes to a boil.
7. Add to chopped chocolate. Stir until chocolate melts. Serve warm.
TO ASSEMBLE:
7. Serve Bananas w/warm chocolate & whipped cream.
