love Trader's.. but this is a good reality check about gluten-free product labelling (which apparently is currently voluntary in the US.. oh AND somehow, there's no official definition of what gluten-free means)

Consumer Warning -Ultra Lean Green Tea
although this post isn't about recipes or anything gluten-free, i think it is important for everyone to read.
my father recently purchased a product called "Ultra Lean Green Tea" from the internet. He expected it to be a one time purchase; unfortunately, he did not read the Terms & Conditions hidden on a link at the bottom of the page. Turns out once you make one order you have to unsuscribe in order to stop future orders (and payments). Sounds easy enough, but the phone line is consistently occupied, and they don't respond to emails.
Unsurprisingly, he is REALLY mad about it. and credit card companies will not let you cancel credit cards if you have payments pending. anyway, i thought it was ridiculous. and just another reminder that it is intensely important to read the terms & conditions. or at the very least make sure you're ordering items from a site you've researched and can trust.
oh & he hasn't found that the product worked. just insult to injury i guess...
